Credit Card Scams

There have been some recent credit card scams in which crooks are making random calls, asking to confirm unusual purchase patterns, claiming they are employed by respectable credit card companies.  They continue to ask questions, eventually asking for your credit card number and/or the card’s security number (the three digit number found on the back of your card).  Do NOT give out any numbers to any caller that calls you.  Instead, tell them you'll call your credit card company directly for verification of the conversation.  If your         conservation can not be verified, report your recent fraudulent call to your local authorities immediately.

New Check Packaging from Deluxe

  When you receive your new check orders in the mail, you may see a new look when you open your mailbox.  Effective April/May of this year,  the traditional Deluxe check box is being replaced with a new streamlined mailing package to meet changing US Postal Service (USPS) requirements. 

  This new look is rigid enough to provide the necessary protection in shipping, yet thin and flexible enough to withstand automated processing at the USPS.   This change should have minimum impact on customers; however, as valued customers of First Trust and Savings Bank, we want you to be informed of the modern changes in our business environment .
